Chili's Grill & Bar

It was very good time there at the bartender Jaffe. She's really on her game and is so happy, and funny too. I will come back for sure .

I always order the grilled chicken salad. It's my favorite salad of all the places I go to eat. The onion Pearl's are great too. Service has always been very good.

This was my first time ever going to a Chili's, and I was thoroughly blown away. From the excellent service from the waiter (Joel Ki, you were the best), to the impressive setup of the table screens, it was a very different experience than most restaurants I've gone to. The food was excellent, came fairly fast, and there were numerous options to choose from. Id love to go again, as long as I get Joel as my server.

Amazing that I could like a Chili's experience so much, but:

1) Perfect service. Not overly attentive (which can be annoying), but cheerful and helpful.
2) The food was actually very good.
3) The atmosphere and seats were extremely comfortable - no super-loud TVs or music blaring.
4) Low price.

Years ago the manager sent an employee to a nearby market to get fresh mushrooms to fulfill an order for my son, because they ran out of mushrooms. I didn't ask, they just did it. Glad they've kept up their excellent service.

It isn't Morton's Steakhouse but it does what it does very well.

We have not been to Chili's in Ithaca in quite a while as their service and quality were somewhat lacking. On our visit on 2/2/19 we were pleasantly surprised by our Great Experience. We were greeted at the door John "Tango" who is a perfect person for a front manager! He not only engaged us, but my 6 year old grandson as well. We were seated quickly and even though it was a busy Saturday night he made us feel welcome and valued as customers. Now on to our waiter Tanner, he was polite, friendly, attentive without being pushy. We had an issue with a glass from the bar which he quickly took care of. He made sure soft drinks and waters were kept full without having to ask. One of my biggest pet peeves is having to wait for my check after it is clear that I am done with my meal. Tanner came to check to see if we wanted desert as we were done with our meal and had our check in hand and also the option of paying at the kiosk on the table. Our meal was much better than we have had in the past here at Chili's. We had steak fajitas, steak and shrimp fajitas, chicken sandwich and kids hamburger sliders. All of our selections had some sort of requested change and everything came out correct the first time. It looks like Chili's in Ithaca has a WINNING TEAM in place and we will be returning. GREAT JOB!!
