Great place - love the school/student part, great cocktails - closes early sometimes without notice.
Have been here a few times and have always been happy with the food and service.
Appetizers in particular are interesting and delicious.
Atmosphere is also really quite nice. Not too busy and fairly quiet.
Lots of places have local food features in the menu in town, but nice to see farm to table.
Very Nice Locally Grown and Procured Fare
We enjoyed a leisurely dinner supported by local wines. The service was great. We learned the restaurant was run by students at the local community college and we would give then an A+.
The Herbed Chicken Breast was delicious. We coupled our meal with some fine Finger Lakes wines from the very nice wine list.
We've had some memorable dishes here, and the food is generally quite good. It is a bit more hit-and-miss than the best restaurants in its category, as some of the other reviews suggest. I assume this is because of its connection to TC3's culinary school and its training and locavore focus - and we're happy to be guinea pigs and support local agriculture. Very nice atmosphere and service.
