Best fresh sea food in town!!! Great people also! The deserts are amazing!!!

Some of the best fried oysters I've ever had. The price was a tad bit steep yet for what we got, it was worth it; after all you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this place. I think they do fresh catch from the ocean if not themselves they buy directly from a beach location. Again I really give 5 stars but this place was good.

Went there on the recommendation of other Google users. Was sadly disappointed. The place is tired, old and covered in filth. The fish was over done and not that tasty at all. I have eaten better fish at fish cove in Syracuse and Doug's fish fry in skaneateles. I recommend the owners take a visit to a larger market who does a larger volume of business and have a higher success rate if they want to continue to be open. Those who rate this restaurant with such high reviews have obviously never eaten at either of the above mentioned locations. Cleanliness is not that hard to achieve. Quality isn't either. I try to find a positive in every dining experience. This however was not the case hat Red and White cafe. I recommend skipping the mess and low quality.

Can't think of anything that I would take a star away for. It is a small, informal place. You order at the counter and choose a seat; your food is brought over to you. We had the fish fry, lightly breaded substantial-sized fish with french fries and coleslaw. The fish was light, white and tasty.. some of the best we have had in a while. French fries are good and we loved the coleslaw. They are open Monday-Friday ..for lunch, dinner and inbetween.

"Diamond in the rough" is how my wife described the Red and White Cafe. We both ordered the fish dinner, comes with fries and cole slaw. The BEST fish fry I've had! Fresh, perfect amount of batter, and not oily! Then we had their homemade key lime pie. Fantastic! Maybe you could get a better one in Key West; however, I'm not convinced. They do a lot of take-out business, but there is seating for 26. Nothing fancy you order at the counter, more than likely one of the family members will deliver your food to the table. Tables are either 2 or 6 seats with plastic knives and forks. They'll also give you silverware if needed. Many other great comfort foods on the menu. Be sure to stop here when you are in town!
