Very comfortable but classy atmosphere, very good food. Reasonable prices. Friendly, attentive service, including my special request. Ciao does a great job.
Our family's favorite celebration restaurant in Ithaca. Bread with olive oil dipping sauce is great. Calimari is always perfectly light and crisp. Wood-fired pizza is always a treat.
Very good food and service. The cost is average. The only recommendation would be adding portion sizes on the menu. I had the lobster ravioli. It was very good but petite in portion. Although my guest had the chicken parmigiana and it was a very large serving. (We shared) Definitely will be back.
Excellent pizza, the pasta is equally as good. They have many options for drinks but I do not indulge in that but they sounded very tasty. Prices are fair and portion sizes are plentiful. You won't be disappointed with a visit here.
Good wood-fired pizza with all the common toppings and a couple relatively novel variations. The gluten-free crust is apparently one of the better choices in the Ithaca area. However, wandering away from these areas of strength into the rest of the Italian-styled menu leads to varied results. In two visits, service has been friendly and prompt despite being quite busy, particularly on weekend evenings. Bread, oil for dipping, and butter were provided soon after being seated. On the first visit, chicken marsala was decent but without much character; it likely came from a plastic bag, an impression reinforced by finding a small strand of plastic floating in the sauce. On the second, the lobster ravioli was visually pleasing and came with two excellent shrimp; it is unclear how much lobster the ravioli actually contained, however, as the dominant (and only) flavor was that of garlic.
Bottom line: Stick with the pizza and it will be enjoyable and worth the (very reasonable) expense. Family-friendly.
