Peace Nation café

Lots of healthy options and good variety plus oodles of socialist charm, but the place seems chronically disorganized and takes some sloppy shortcuts. A recent, simple takeout order took more than 20 minutes to prepare, despite the fact that I was the only customer at the time. The veggie chicken nuggets turned out to be from Morningstar Farms, which I could make myself at home. There were no soup options, although it was snowing outside, and the place had run out of hot chocolate mix, which is one of those staples a restaurant should always have in stock. Most surprising for an eatery that prides itself on its vegetarian- and vegan-friendliness, bacon bits were mixed in with the sweet-potato fries that came with the veggie chicken-nugget order. Obviously, the fries were prepared on the same grill as someone else's bacon order, and the grill wasn't cleaned between orders. A problem for people who don't eat pork for religious, health, or humanitarian reasons!

Lovely cafe in downtown Kingston, with a variety of options for vegetarian and meat eaters. Breakfast all day, with Central American offerings on breakfast and lunch menus. Great drinks and smoothies also. Staff is attentive and pleasant

Amazing food and drinks. The homemade lemonade was delicious. As well as the tacos and the grassfed burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. It also came on a bakery fresh roll. Great experience here. Definitely coming back!

Great vibes, amazing food, beautiful space, and beautiful staff. Relaxed atmosphere and an open space for all. Their food is presented beautifully, with so many colors and textures. The garden space is awesome with a fire pit and a hammock. I love this place so much, we need more spaces like this in our community. Peace for all!
