Beers are great! Food is tasty, and the staff are awesome. Awesome hole in the wall spot to chill and have a great time.

Delicious beer! Their food is great too. You can now buy 32oz "crowlers" to bring home. Best brewery in the area that I have tried.

Let it be said that I generally despise pubs, bars, etc of any kind (even though I've been to more than I can count from small towns in NH to bars in Jersey and Boston). The food and service was so good here that I forgot I was in one. I ordered the lamb burger last night and it was honestly the BEST burger I have had in the last 10 years. I would say the same thing about the fries-- its been a long time since I've had them so perfectly crispy. All of the servers were super attentive, but it was a very laid back feel (I feel like it's so hard to get the right balance between attentive and hovering, but it was PERFECT here!) Anyone who is in the area NEEDS to go here. I'm impressed beyond words.

Rough Cut has a nice rustic atmosphere with lots of rough cut wood decorating pretty much everything. Right near the entrance it's hard to miss the big cozy fireplace and sofas in front of it, great places to enjoy a beer and warmth on cold days. The beer is pretty good too and there's a nice mix of style and some interesting experiments. The food is also good with mostly bar food though the wings and jalapeno poppers were all very nice. It's a great place to rest up after hiking the nearby preserve.
