    So happy this has moved from Brooklyn. Amazing food always. Owner, who is adorable and a great oragami artist :-), served us tonight. Had the Chicken Katsu Curry which was so flavorful and perfect on a cold day. Matcha Cheesecake was dangerously good.

    Love SOY! Etsko's cooking is fantastic, the vibe is great (and the garden is low-key the best place in the area) and Saturday movie night is a nice touch ????

    Awesome Japanese food, home made healthy style. Great selections of Sake in addition to IPAs and standard alcohol. Fun atmosphere, definitely going back!

    Authentic, quality Japanese home cooking expertly done. Order the gyoza (how does she get them so crispy and so succulent??), rotating miso soup specials, and the mains are always solid. Thoughtful beer and sake menus, homemade condiments, totally charming space. Don't expect American portions, so order an extra app if you are very hungry. You will feel nourished and fortified by the perfect balance of flavors and ingredients.

    OH MY GOD the tuna avocado bowl and the SOY spicy mayo! I dream of these two things. The portions are small so be forewarned that you will be hungry if you only order one dish. But order more dishes. You won’t be unhappy. :)
