Urban Cowboy Lodge

It's been a few months since our stay at Urban Cowboy and we can't stop talking about it. From top to bottom, it was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and really made our time there special. When we arrived (incredibly stressed from the drive), they insisted we take a seat and have a glass of whiskey on the house. It's little touches like that throughout that really impressed us. And the room (the Alpine Bathing Suite) was incredible. We wish the lodge was a little more affordable -- we were only able to stay one night. But we will certainly be back.

Urban Cowboy Lodge, and its team, specifically, deserve much more than five stars. I recently had the pleasure of staying here on a solo getaway weekend, and really believe that so much of the magic of my trip is owed to the UCL staff and accommodations. Every single member of the team is beyond kind and welcoming, and regularly went out of their way to make sure I had the greatest time possible (surprising me with a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate a recent life accomplishment, lending me a beach towel for the on-site swimming hole and making sure I'd packed sunscreen, inventing the most *incredible* cocktail hour drinks, recommending local spots to explore, listening to my adventure stories from that day, and so much more). The land that the lodge sits on is beautiful, the food that their restaurant offers is far above expectations, and the decor and comfort of the rooms and their amenities is stunning- however, the true gem here is the team that goes beyond in everything they do. I'd happily recommend Urban Cowboy Lodge to anyone, including solo travelers (I always felt incredibly safe!), and can't wait for my next trip up!

What a great place. The staff were so friendly and inviting we felt right at home. The rooms are nice and if you're a nature buff the location is within minutes of many great hikes.

We stayed for a night this past weekend. The lodge was beautiful, just as expected, and the rooms were amazing! We were disappointed in the lack of (free) amenities considering the price.. There were not too many options other than scheduling a time to watch a movie in the theater, and schedule a massage, both for additional costs. I was also disappointed with having to pay for a cup of coffee in the morning because they don’t supply coffee makers in the rooms. They do offer breakfast and dinner, but with a very limited menu. We decided to try some local places for meals and they were wonderful.
