If you're looking for great service, authentic fresh Italian cuisine, in a spotless and warm setting I definitely recommend you give Sams a try. Everything I've ever ordered here has been excellent, but some of our favorites are: the baked clams (whole not chopped), escarole and beans, any of their pizza (the white pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe is my personal favorite). My son's is margherita - which is a very thin crust square slice with marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. The owner is there everyday and has had the same staff working for him for 15 + years.

We meet for family gatherings when we are in NY....Quiant establishment. Always a good meal with excellent service.

Thursday evening, place is full. Service is on high-level: polite, fast and not annoying. Entertainment is in Italian smooth taste. Music is from keyboard, not loud and allows you to hear your friends

I had the most excellent service! Food was delicious! Made me feel like I'm in Italy! Their food is soooo fresh and tastes homemade!
