The Rare Bit

I went there seeking decent fish and chips, and though prepared with their special flare, I was not disappointed. The lamb belly was also surprisingly delectable . Overall I was impressed by the evident seasoning on everything tasted, dispelling the reputation for bland pseudo British food.

I just recently dined here with family, and I must say that I was impressed. Very rarely do I go to a restaurant and enjoy everything I eat and drink. Firstly, the space is a nice balance between upscale and cozy, making you feel like you've been briefly transported across the pond. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I saw a cocktail on the menu (the royal wedding) that I wanted to try, but I was hesitant because I am not the biggest gin fan. However, it was blended so well that I actually ordered a second drink. Honestly, from appetizer to dessert, everything was cooked and seasoned wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this place as well as dine here again.

Loved the atmosphere and the food came out fast and tasted really good. The drinks were delicious as well. It will definitely be our new spot for drinks and food.

Delicious and such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Service was wonderful - friendly, helpful and well-informed. We had an array of dishes and all impressed.

Newly opened and very welcome. Rarebit exceeds its predecessor and adds a new English flavor to the area. The bangers and mash and the Scotch Eggs were great. They also make a solid burger with chips. I'm looking forward to going back as soon as I can.
