We live in the area and love the food here. After living in NYC for many years with great Chinese restaurants, it is wonderful to find a family owned place that has excellent food.

Went for a quick lunch. Only one other patron in the restaurant. Great lunch deal prices. Many customers ordered to go. Very polite employees. Dealt well with a customer making specific requests. Had salmon roll and eel roll. Both fish were very tender and had great flavor. They have a large tv screen inside as well to watch if you happen to sit alone. Waitress was very nice and attentive. One thing I didn't enjoy was the salad. The ginger dressing was too watery for my liking and tasted very strong, maybe too much rice vinegar. But everyone has different recipes so I ate it without complaint. I was offered hot tea as well I believe but I didn't try any because I was sweating from the weather outside. Would recommend to others for the great fish.

From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, we were treated like stars. Very attentive staff, and delicious food! Everything we ordered was great. The orange beef was not overly orange (like some places do, I'm convinced because it's to hide something else). Bamboo garden orange beef tasted like the way my friend's mom used to make at home (she's Chinese).
Not overly salty, no fake tastes. Server was quick, kind and the whole place was super clean ! Yes its a small place, but it's comfortable and while we were there, 5 people came to pick up take out! I took their menu home with me. This is our new go to for Chinese!
