Very good food and friendly.
Quality seafood. Old school pub/ restaurant. Unpretentious with high quality food and service.
Small little restaurant on the corner. It appeared there was a wait. Thankfully we walked in and asked as we were seated promptly. Service from all staff who served us, always with a smile since the moment we walked in. Lobster was outstanding. Salad with gorgonzola with mixed perfectly. No large lumps of cheese. Multi Cherry Gobbler dessert with ice cream was Devine. Definitely go again.
Unpretentious family restaurant with hearty entrees including seafood. Both the casual patio and the old-school interior, seemingly unchanged since the restaurant’s 1931 opening (“except for the booths being replaced”, said Ernie, son of Gus himself), are wonderful spaces to share a meal in.
Two members of the managing family kindly introduced themselves and made sure we had an enjoyable meal. The kaiser rolls, while bizzare outside of a delicatessen context, provide a warm and enjoyable start to the meal.
