Le Provencal Bistro is a great French restaurant. Their menu is excellent, their wine selection is very good as well.
One of my favorite local restaurants. Great space, bright and cheerful. Outstanding service, very friendly and charming staff. The food is exquisite. Affordable true French fare highly recommend.
This is one of the Great restaurants of Mamaroneck Avenue. If you love French food like I do, then you really must check out this fine cuisine. The service is superb, with wait staff doting on you.
We hosted a lunch for nearly 50 family members at Le Provencal Bistro. From the beginning, Henri was incredibly accommodating. He was responsive on both email and via phone. The day of the party, the room looked great and the staff was spectacular. Our lead server, Hazel, was exceptional. We didn’t bring a cake and didn’t anticipate serving one, but Hazel had the kitchen make a “profiterole cake” which was such a wonderful gesture. The food was fantastic! The set menu had lots of choices and the actual food was delicious. We were particularly impressed by the fact that the kitchen was able to accurately deliver steaks at different done-ness levels. Henri was fair with pricing and even made recommendations (for how to serve the wine) to help make the lunch as economical as possible for us. Next time we have a special event we will be back. Thank you, Henri and team!
I didn't make a reservation however I was seated within 10 minutes. I went with my boyfriend on a Friday evening the hostess was very nice warm so it started off the experience in a positive way. The owner this restaurant, a women, goes to all the tables and greets the patrons which adds a nice warm touch. Now onto the food! For appetizers we had the crab cake and escargot. Escargot was garlicky and buttery just the way I like and it melted in your mouth. The crab cake was delicious nice lumpy crab but also the filling itself is incredibly tasty no complaints it was perfect. We had the special of the night forgive me I can't remember the name however they were lamb dished we ordered. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned (very important that's food is seasoned well). From start to finish it was an amazing experience . This is only 20 minutes from my house. This will be my new French restaurant fix especially because it is very reasonable prices. Can't wait to go again and try their beef bourguignon. I definitely recommend this place it's rare that I get five stars.
