Great ambience and friendly staff. Food is average and uninspiring. We would come back again for drinks only.
Funghi pizza and duck campanelle both were delicious.
For what it is, it has one of the best sauce/gravy in Northern Westchester. (They don't give out recipes). The food is really good.
The service is helpful. The seating by the bar had enough privacy for a romantic dinner. They had an excellent list of available Bourbons, and the angels breath was smooth.
This is the reason for missing fifth star. The liquor menu had no prices. I had to ask the waitress how much was my first drink ($14), and decided to forgo the second. I just couldn't justify spending $28 for a moderate buzz. plus the ride home was easier.
Stone Fire is a really nice option in Mt Kisco. The upstairs (casual attire / family friendly seating) has a very different vibe from the downstairs, which is more bustling with a bar scene. Beer options are strong and can be tasted in a flight.
As for appetizers, the chicken meatballs are excellent. The shishito peppers are below average, under-seasoned, and mushy.
Although known for excellent piazzas, consider getting one of the homemade pastas. The short rib gemelli is exceptional.
