This is some of the BEST Georgian food I have ever had. The service needs a little work, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars, but easily worth waiting for the food. Loved it so much I went back a few days later!
This place is awesome! Lovely restaurant with great hosts and service. Food is absolutely delicious!! Definitely will come back soon. ❤️
Absolutely delicious. Between the seven of us, we ordered 4 different appetizers and 6 different entrees. Every single one was excellent.
Service was fast and courteous, and particularly patient with our one year old (I'm pretty sure her alignment is 'chaotic good').
The qvevri wine we had was also superb.
Will definitely be back.
Pretty authentic Georgian fare. Chicken was a bit dry, but perhaps I’m remembering something from my youth which after all was not better. Generous portion, very fresh food. Actually lovely food.
Service - very pleasant and rather amateurish in a good sense - comes across as very sweet
Ambiance of an industrial plant cafeteria. Bad. Bad lighting, no noise control whatsoever.
Overall impression - people who really love food and love to share it with guests had manages to buy an abandoned cheap food joint and operating in it “as is”. Perhaps for a lack of funds but by talking to employees it is also because they don’t know any better.
Food gem with somewhat “exotic” (for Americans) character. Comfort food!
Highly recommended, but for the owners - bring some knowledgable restaurant consultant / designer, it will be very much worth the cost!
Just visited Badageoni yesterday during lunch time. Food was excellent as well as service. This is real Georgian, not like-Georgian, cuisine. Whoever will visit it beware - dishes are huge and most of them can be shared between 2 people easily. I really recommend it.
