Service and pasta exceptional. Still working out certain dishes. Wine and beer needs help! Overall great value.

Was excellent first 2 times. After that the last 2 times food was just ok. Salad dressing all garlic ugh. Food not great. Pasta is not what you order here.
No good place to wait. Ate at the bar and people crowding over us.
Need to slow down and regroup

My experience at the Dolphin South was lovely. I was at the restaurant New Years Eve with a party of four. We each ordered a different entre and all of us were very pleased with our meals. All of this happened at closing time. The restaurant remained open later than scheduled and provided excellent service.

I enjoyed a second meal at this lovely restaurant. I had the chicken cacciatore special the first time and it was prepared with flavor and the meat was tender and delicious. Tonight I had a pasta fusilli with eggplant and the tomato sauce was smooth and spiced just right. The owner came over and greeted us and he hires enough wonderfully trained wait staff that are attentive. The prices are average and the food service ambiance is way above average! The ricotta cheese cake was so unbelievably to my liking- not too sweet!

Good environment, great service. I visited with a group of 7 people and the food came out quick, warm and above all it was very flavorful.
I believe the manager (or owner) came and greeted my friend for her birthday. Really made her feel special!
The only downside about the area in general, is the lack of parking spots. Hope the city can do something about it.
