Gavi Restaurant

We went with my parents to this restaurant about a week ago. My folks were 10 minutes early, we were 10 minutes late. When we got there, my mom mentioned that they had been there for 20 minutes, and in that time they were offered neither a drink nor a menu. As she was telling me this, a waiter walked by, and she somewhat impatiently said, "Can we see menus?!" and the waiter gave her attitude! In an annoyed tone, he said that he'll be there in a minute! I was up in a flash, asking to speak to a manager. My mom's actually one of the sweetest, most patient people I know, and I have no doubt that she had the courage to speak up because we were there with her. Seeing the waiter talk to her like that had me seeing red. I told the manager what happened, and she more than remedied the issue. She immediately gave us a different waiter, and he treated us with attention and consideration the entire meal. The food was outstanding, truly exceptional, as we had heard, and the fact that the manager took my complaint seriously and completely turned the experience around for us impressed us to no end. We'll certainly be back. The manager and the rest of the wait staff did right by us, and I hope I've shown how impressed we are by passing on a review about what could have been a very frustrating experience but instead was an extremely positive and impressive one. I have no doubt you'll be impressed too.

Food was good, waiter had a great sense of humor especially when dealing with 60 women for a baby shower!
