Apropos Restaurant at The Abbey Inn

Absolutely magnificent location - great menu and awesome chef John and his staff were magnificent!!! and amazing view. Such a cool place!

The food and drinks are overpriced, the service is irregular in the sense that sometimes you wait awhile before anyone comes to check on your table or else you have to flag someone down. My friend got the burger which had good flavor but the pork belly BLT had no flavor. The managers were at least attentive, otherwise I would have given it fewer stars. You pay NYC prices for mediocre service and flavorless food with a good view.

We just had an excellent anniversary celebration meal from Apropos. There were heating instructions so the food was fresh for at home dining. The shrimp cocktail and ceasar salad were perfect appetizers to enjoy while we were waiting for our main course of glazed short ribs, polenta, roasted veggies, and frittata We are looking forward to tasting the tiramisu and fresh fruit once our tummys have more room. Would highly recommend them for a nice dinner 'out'. The view looks spectacular too. It will be nice to actually eat there some day but in the meanwhile they will be on our short list for take out.
