Really good grilled chicken. The beans were great too. Definitely coming back here again.

Just another Peruvian restaurant. If you've eaten at one, you pretty much ate at all of them. Only thing that changes is the spot and how it looks inside. This one's cleaner than most, yes, but the service kinda sucked. The waiter was shocked that I wasn't going to order much to eat and was sitting at the bar eating hus food in between servicing customers...Why not go to the back/kitchen? The food was good, but like I mentioned above it's the same food as all the other Peruvian restaurants. Nothing new here to see... I personally didn't like the setting with the street front and pedestrians looking at me like they've never seen people before in their lives, but then again I was invited and was not my choice to come to this place. It's just my opinion and impression of the place.

Great place to eat before a show at The Capitol Theater. Been there twice and both times was very pleased with food and service
    Very reasonable too!

Our first time at Panka Peruvian, and what a terrific evening! We were going to a performance at the Capitol Theater a few doors away, allowed 2 hrs for a relaxing dinner, and we had just that. They have a full bar and serve well-executed drinks, v. good beer selection. Every dish we had was totally delicious: quality ingredients expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We started with baked scallops on shells.. never had anything like this before and beyond delish! My husband had the seafood paella, and I had the seafood risotto. I've never enjoyed a finer risotto, and hubby loved his paella. Folks at the next table saw my dish and my delight and ordered the same. Our server was attentive, patient, friendly and helpful... very warm and accommodating, even though the restaurant filled within an hour of our arrival and he was clearly running around and pushing to take everyone's orders and serve. He never lost his smile and courtesy. We shared a lovely flan for dessert, with espresso. Everything was great. We can't wait to bring friends to our new find.
