One of my favorite places. I like the formula. Best example of comfort and healthy food. Mac and cheese is really good. Nice, airy and bright dining room.
Take the "build your own plate" restaurant craze and up the ante. The food is farm to table fresh and cooked to perfection. Well priced too! Try the mac&cheese and sweet potatoes.
Fresh, delicious, seasonal food. My first but certainly not last experience. Best brussel sprouts I ever ate in my life. With veggies that taste this good, I could consider going vegetarian ????
One of our favorite places to eat in Rye. Great selection of healthy, local, in-season food, which always tastes better because it’s fresh! It’s a build-your-own bowl setup, where you pick a base, two sides, a protein, and a sauce. Hats off for having Cawston Press beverages, they’re a perfect combo with any meal. My only complaints are in the winter, cold air is blowing. We asked them to turn the heat on but nothing seemed to happen. When we eat in, we are forced to wear our jackets inside because it’s so cold. They also always seem to be out of tofu, and it takes them 20 minutes to re-stock it once it’s out. If you eat in, make sure to get reusable cutlery! They have reusable dishes, silverware, and cups, but won’t give it to you unless you ask for it.
If you want to get some healthy food which is also good for your taste buds give this place a try. I am. Not a food junky or someone obsessed with healthy eating but I had to aggree the food is quite phenomenal. My only advice would be as the menu changes seasonally make sure you think about that also. Few choices are warm and few cold so before you add them to your meal ask about the same.
