Just returned from Via Forno. It was an excellent pizza. We had a margarita with prosciutto and a La Pazza with anchovies and black olives. Very well done and alot of topping. We will be back again on a Tuesday night when you can get two ???? for one if you are from Scarsdale.

Great place for lunch. Fresh salads, great pizzas and paninis, amazing veggie sides. Highly recommend the roasted carrots! The food makes this Italian very happy and I am very picky about eating Italian. Great staff. My husband & I plan on making Via Forno our spot for lunch and dinner.

This was a most pleasant surprise. '(Especially for Scarsdale) Greeted by a smiling young woman who seemed to genuinely like her job. Server was super-friendly and helpful with advice and info about the menu. Two guys I assume are the owners roamed the kitchen and dining areas overseeing things, jumping in to help.

Dining room is family friendly - several families with kids were there when we went. Very spacious with plenty of room between tables. Very nice bar area. They also have a counter in front of the wood oven, which is kinda fun.

As for the food - excellent. Salads are innovative and fresh. They're also very generous portions. Salad and a pie are plenty for two people (IMO). Everything nicely served - hot, fresh, and promptly. Drinks from the bar are well done and generous.

Will def go back and try some of their entree offerings. Well done, guys!

$3.75 for soda and one small oven for a pizzeria is a bit ridiculous. With that said there was good service and the food was enjoyable. The meatball sliders were my favorite. The pizza was good too but it was awkward to eat since the pies took up most of the table and there was no stand to free up table space. Since there was one oven the pies took a little while to come out.

Atmosphere was okay for a date night, ours was spoiled by the table next to us. Kids ran around in the middle of the aisle screaming, but that’s not the restaurants fault.

Would recommend for a night out for locals who want to try something new.

Ordered the Via Forno pizza pie and it was delicious, the size of the pie was “personal size” so I think each person has to order their own. I thought $17 was a little too much for that size.
    Good atmosphere and nice ambiance.
