Augie's Prime Cut

Was in town for the weekend and my friends recommended we check it out. Steaks were cooked to perfection, nice bustling ambience and our server was great. He convinced us to add a lobster tail and splurge for a bottle of wine. Our friends warned it would be a little pricey but was totally worth it. Upscale experience. I’m glad they sent us, we’ll be back.

Went to Augie’s on a Sunday and they had a bunch of bar specials. We were going to do an early dinner while I was in town but we ended up doing the 2-for-1 lunch deal and a bunch of apps. I can’t believe a place that looks like this has these kind of deals. We took advantage of the lunch special and also ordered the jumbo beer pretzel, the crab nachos and a few others. It was nice to change it up and and hang at the bar, but now I can’t wait to come back for a proper dinner.

I came for Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband last night, and wow – there was a lot of people even though it was a week night. I know it’s a holiday so what do you expect, but I have to say everything still went smooth despite how packed how they were. We had the Chilean sea bass, which was excellent. We also had the lamb chops. I was hesitant to try the cocktail special because I thought it might be too sweet, but it was also delicious. Augie’s comes through for us time and time again. I wanted to show them some love because, well, I think they deserve it! I didn’t see the same crowds while driving through the neighborhood, so thanks for creating a local spot we can rely on for special occasions. PS the Tomahawk steak special tonight was amazing!

I swear Augie’s just gets better and better every time we come. Augie’s overall is the best steakhouse out of them all in the area and there are quite a few. My family loves the seafood options. The oysters and lobster never disappoint. I love the steaks. I find that the cuts of meat are always cooked just how I like em. Medium rare to perfection. We’ve had birthday parties here and private events for my company. The team here is easy to work with and very accommodating. Looking forward to many more meals and unforgettable times at Augie’s. Every time I come here I realize how great the food is. In fact, I think the food gets better every time we come! My family has eaten here too many times to count. The team here is so wonderful and accommodating. As amazing as the steaks are, I think the appetizers are my favorite. Fun space upstairs for private parties too. I'm VERY picky and Augie's is incredibly solid. Nice ambiance. Spectacular quality all around.
