Glen Iris Inn

VERY DISAPPOINTED in a place where we have enjoyed having lunch for years????
I had the spinach salad with shrimp, that cost me $19. The shrimp were tasteless and obviously dumped out of a bag of precooked shrimp. The hot bacon dressing was refrigerated and tasted nothing like bacon dressing. The coffee was bitter.
We did have good service and will give this place another try, before giving up on it!

Glen Iris Inn set in Letchworth State Park is beautiful. The restaurant presents great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great veranda in which to dine in good weather and to sit and people watch or soak up the beautiful natural landscape at middle falls. Beautiful flower garden, landscape. Well worth a visit.

Greek pasta dish was ok. Everything else was great! Great selections.
To improve the Greek pasta dish, more spinach, lemon zest throughout, lower salt feta, kalamata olives only, not black olives. Then less pasta and a nice sauce from the feta and lemon. Also mint leaves would add another layer. Would love to come and make this dish myself!!!

Great atmosphere. Nice view of the falls. Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend. And take time to enjoy the (Letchworth) park too. The Humphrey Nature Center is a GREAT place to start!

Stopped here after a hike in the park.

The location of the restaurant is such an advantage, just a step or two from the middle fall. One can sit in its veranda and listen to the roar of the water a few meters away. Beautiful grounds and surrounding, lending itself nicely for alfresco dining.

We got pork chops and chicken marsala. Pork chops cooked right, came out tender. Chicken was flavorful. Garlic wings were great as well.

Staff was attentive and helpful. It was a good dining experience outdoors...
