Great place, friendly helpful staff organized, takes a little time but foods hot, animals well cared for. Tran ride alot if fun. Buy extra pellets!! Fun for all is to be had. Small petting zoo is hands on as well buy extra carrots!! Baby pigs, ponies, miniature horses, lambs......will go again.
We went for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. My husband was a little more skeptical about what the experience would be never having heard of the place. He walked away being very happy with the quality of the trail ride and the small animal space as well as the food - a complete experience. I lost count of how many dollars my son spent on carrots in the 5 hours we were there. It ended with my son in tears because he had given most of the animals names in the small animal enclosures and was not ready to 'leave his friends'. The food was real good too. My husband really liked the onion rings and my son loved his chicken fingers. The staff was really friendly and this is something we will definitely do again.
Beautiful place very well kept grounds. Trolley ride is a lot of fun and plenty of large animals to see and feed! They have handicapped accessible trolleys and their is plenty of room for a wheelchair. Tour guides are great and helpful. We ate at the their dining room, which I didn't know what to expect. I got the Water Buffalo burger which was phenomenally juicy, flavorful and cooked to a medium perfection! My girlfriend got the BLT wrap and she said it was great. They also have a fully stocked bar! Only one negative the speaker in the back of the trolley didn't work which made it impossible to hear our guide.
About as clean as you can get for an animal preserve. Staff is very knowledgeable and seem to care for the animals. Animals are well taken care of and precautions are taken to keep you and them safe. It is a great place for kids to go and learn and have fun while learning. The animals aren't forced to do any unnatural or harmful tricks like in a lot of places like African lion safari. While you are waiting for food there are a number of things you can do. There is a smaller animal petting and feeding farm which you can get a cup of carrots from for $1 and the animals will come up to you to be fed and pet. There is also a huge pond with a bunch of huge koi fish you can feed for ¢50. Overall a nice place and I would go again.
Such a great place! You get up close and feed the animals. All the animals are well taken care of and have larger open areas to roam free. Very well kept park. And the staff is very passionate about their animals. They love to talk about the animals and tell you their little quirks and fun tidbits of info on them. Absolutely cannot say a bad word about this place!
