Smokehouse at Steve's

Great food and beer selection. It was busy but got through the line reasonably. Good mix of beer and craft beer.

Ernest was very warm and welcoming! Great service.

Hearing about this place from other people I decided to finally make a trip for lunch. No story prepared me for my experience. Walking in the place the smell of the smoker fills your nose. The menu is basic choice of smoked meats and southern side dishes. Reasonably priced too. I tried the chopped BBQ plate. The pork held a great smoky taste, nicely portioned and paired with collard greens and cucumber salad made for a happy belly. Oh did I mention they had cobbler. I would highly recommend this place.

We’ve been watching and waiting for the Smokehouse to open up, wondering what they were going to offer.
They did not disappoint! One word - BRISKET!!! Absolutely the best I’ve had since leaving Texas two years ago, and even better than half the places there. Forget the sauce - it’s a disservice to good brisket.
And sausage! In Carolina?? I have found a new favorite place!
Casual, good smoky aromas, fantastic sides, friendly service, good portions. We’ll be back often!!

Yummy! I wish I had had room for dessert! Kid meals $5 for 1 meat and one side. Can't beat quality kid meals for that price! Large group seating, outdoor seating, and very friendly staff which has always been the case at Steve's. I didn't take pics of the grocery store, that's another review but certainly adds to your dining experience. People came from nearby cities to give it a try, expect a line that moves quick.

This place is AMAZING, found by accident one day. I have tried all the different meats... I love the country sausage and ribs. My boyfriend enjoys the wings and the potato salad. I am not big on onions in the potato salad or the mac & cheese.... the baked beans are smoked flavored so also not my thing. The home fries are the BEST side in my opinion.

The banana pudding is different but I think it's delicious.
