The Mason Jar Cafe

The Fried Chicken sandwich is awesome! It’s nice to have a place on this side of town like this that is open on weekends too. The staff is great! This place sort of makes you feel like you’re on vacation. Definitely a family favorite.

Although the food was delicious, the staff need some lessons on how to treat people. Not only was there not a sign that said to "seat yourself," they just let us come in and stand right inside the door for 10 minutes before they said to "sit anywhere." But, what the staff should really do is learn their menu. I ordered a Shrimp sandwich and, it was delicious, but when I asked the waitress what type of coleslaw they had she just laughed and said "uhhh" like I was asking some ridiculous question. I have asked this exact question in multiple restaurants and the staff have always given me an answer like "red, white, vinegar based... etc." This waitress made me feel very uncomfortable with her response and she needs to learn the menu and be more mindful of how she treats her customers.

Family friendly. Very nice and welcoming folks. Good food and reasonable prices.

WOW! Ordered to go to try The Mason out and I’m glad to see a country friendly restaurant back out in the Whitney area! Friendly folks and the burger, club, and chicken pie for my family was awesome!
