Definitely had to make a stop to try this authentic Burmese food! We ordered three dishes: Burmese style pork belly curry, Beef curry and Tea leaf salad.I only had a chance to take a photo of tea leaf salad because as soon as the other dishes were served, we couldn’t take a minute to take photo but decided to start eating☺️.Loved all the dishes, the best part is that you can just tell how you like your dish to turn out, she will make it happen for you! We liked ours spicy and we got it! 🥰🥰🥰
Haven't tried her cooking yet? You should go to this restaurant right now. We ordered stir-fried vegetables, fried rice, egg rolls, salad, and noodles. It took about 40 minutes from the time we ordered until the food was prepared. That's understandable. She's the only one cooking. She has a great smile and is friendly. The taste of all the dishes was amazing, something I had never tasted before, and it was very impressive. I think it's the best Asian food I've ever had. If you're not sure what to have for dinner, try this restaurant! I would also like to order regularly!
It would be great if there was a list of food prices! ! ! !
We stopped by Haymar's on the way back from Greensboro and it was a delicious experience! The owner was friendly and walked us through the menu. We really enjoyed the fish chickpea soup special and a vegetable chicken thin noodle dish!
Haymar is nothing short of a culinary virtuoso! After reading positive reviews and chatting with her about vegetarian options, I went all out on my first visit and ordered a takeout birthday feast. She more than delivered.
The tea leaf salad was the highlight, an absolute must-try. But it wasn't just that—everything from the Nepalese chicken salad to the cashew chicken was well-crafted and flavorful. The tofu with vegetables didn't disappoint either.
What set Haymar apart is not just the flavors, but also her artful presentation and meticulous use of fresh ingredients. This is not your average gas station fare; this is haute cuisine where you least expect it.
If you're thinking about a large order, it's a good idea to call ahead to give her the time she needs.
The cashew chicken and tea salad will be my go-tos, but I'm excited to work my way through her entire menu. Highly recommend giving Haymar's Kitchen a try—you won't regret it!
Got the caramelized pork belly & egg rolls. Absolutely delicious! To top if off, Haymar brought us a bowl of the shan noodle soup too. That was also magnificent. Worth the trip from Raleigh! She even brought out paper & markers for my daughter to draw while we were eating. We will be back for sure.
