Thong summit thai & sushi

This is the CUTEST little sushi place I have ever seen. The atmosphere felt upscale and carefully put together, but also vintage and quaint. They have the sweetest outdoor seating area as well with booths, and draped with Edison-style string lights. We ordered to-go and got two appetizers and three rolls and it was about $70. Definitely more food than the two of us were able to finish, but all of it was tasty. The biggest compliment I have is for the steamed dumplings with the dipping sauce. They tasted like the most authentic ones I’ve had in a long time. It feels like this restaurant really cares about their food and their service.

Very good sushi! Papaya salad could use some work and some of the sushi was too big and a bit bland. Other rolls were excellent. Nice atmosphere. Bring cash though, they charge 3.85% on card transaction. Need to put that sign by entrance not by bathroom. Bathroom was very small and NOT handicap accessible. Also, please get a better exhaust system. The burned oil from the kitchen area can be smelled from dining area. Unappetizing. A bit overpriced but no need for a long drive to get sushi. Will try again soon.

The sushi and sashimi tasted great. Glad to have something like this in WJ. The inside sits about 30 so get there early if you want a seat! They also do takeout.

Wow! What a great surprise! Ordered the Crispy Fish Lava-not something I would normally try-and it was delicious! Fish was light, tender, and very fresh, and the taste was fabulous. Ordered a couple of appetizers-crab Rangoon and veggie dumplings fried (you can have steamed too). Awesome.

Ordered the Bali roll and it was great, also had the Angry Tuna Roll which is one of the most unique rolls I've ever had. A little sweet, a little spice, and some good crunch.

Lighting was good, music was perfect for dining, staff was friendly and attentive!

This is our new favorite local place! Best restaurant in West Jefferson.

We tried a little of everything….. It was all delicious and portions were good sized. The staff was friendly and attentive. So happy WJ has this place!
