(September 1, 2019, 1:28 pm)I read that they have a salad bar and dessert bar. They had neither. The food they did have out was good but I wouldn't travel 30 minutes again. We went and got dessert from another restaurant after we left.

(March 17, 2019, 6:24 pm)This simple place had the best food we ate in Washington. Want ambiance? Pay way too much for mediocre food at the few options near the water. Want tasty, home cooked food? Eat here. We had the lunch buffet which offered baked or fried chicken, ribs, grilled veggies, rice, beans (so tasty), cornbread and more. Thanks for feeding us, Open Heart. We loved the name, too
