(April 19, 2019, 1:27 pm)I declare, THIS place has the best fried chicken in the world. I live over an hour away, and I have made SEVERAL trips to this restaurant to pick up fried chicken, cole slaw and apple fritters for not only my family, but for my husband's co-workers as well. Every, and I mean EVERY, family gathering includes Little Golden Skillet's fried chicken. Their breakfast menu is on point as well. My 16 year old son completely demolished a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit in less than two minutes. Yes y'all, it's like that.

(April 13, 2019, 6:58 pm)Couldn't decide between the BBQ or the fried chicken. Good morning thing they had a platter they had both. The BBQ was a Carolina version without sauce yet was very tasty. The chicken was true to southern tradition. Will go back. It is a 2 hour drive from me but worth a visit at least once month.
