“A fabulous restaurant in the most beautiful setting. The cork room is nestled within Cape Fear Vineyards in Elizabethtown and surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive, and the food and drinks are to die for! Last time I was here I walked outside and there were two peacocks standing right by the front door! This is truly a gem of a place in North Carolina. A must try, even if it's a little out of your way.”

“This place is a Diamond in the Rough. We had Easter Lunch here with the family and absolutely everyone had a wonderful time. The art collection alone was well worth the drive from the city. Our child fed all the animals, which he loved. The food was also quite good with some of the best pecan pie we have ever had. Hands down what makes this place most enjoyable, though, is the staff. From the manager, Gil, to the event coordinator, Derek, and the wait and kitchen staff- they took their time to stop whatever they were doing and talked to us at multiple times throughout the day. They seemed like they genuinely appreciated our visit and went out of their way to tend to us. We especially enjoyed Mitch's (the bartender) stories about transporting some of the art to the vineyard. Thank you all for helping us have such a pleasant experience. We will certainly be back with friends and other family. Our hope is that you never lose any of the smaller town Southern hospitality that most popular places immediately sacrifice as they get busier.”

Simply because of the prices of the food as well as the smaller portions of food. Now, I must admit, that lately the portions of food has gotten a lot better than what it was in the beginning. The restrooms are clean, and the waitresses display great customer service. The owners are very friendly, and they check the quality of the food before it’s given.”

“Went in and ordered carry-out. Didn't check inside the boxes before leaving. My big box was ordered with mashed potatoes and gravy and slaw. I received 2 mashed potato bowls one with gravy and without gravy. I figure someone got slaw they didn't order and I got mashed potatoes without gravy, I didn't order. Never had a problem at the Elizabethtown location before. They have the best Chicken of any KFC I have visited.”

“This place is pretty amazing. Its hibachi style, where you pile your plate with raw ingredients, then they cook on a grill in the dining area. If its takeout, you're charged by the pound. If dining in, you get two trips to the bar. All the ingredients were fresh, and there are a decent amount of choices. I love being able to customize my food, and get exactly how much i want of everything. They weren't the best at refilling our drinks, but everyone was very friendly and the price is very fair.”

“We stopped at Big Tom’s on the way to the beach and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! We sat out on the patio and the owner brought us homemade ice cream samples and a water bowl for our small dogs. Everyone was very friendly and made sure we had all we needed. We’ll definitely eat here again when passing through! Highly recommend, excellent service like this is hard to find these days!”
