We started with the house salad - very fresh greens dressed with a nicely blended Italian - not too tart and not overly seasoned. Our entrees (shrimp scampi and prosciutto wrapped manicotti) were very well prepared, served piping hot and delicious! This was our first visit and we definitely will return.”

“Our lunch at Amelia's was wonderful. The portions were perfect, not too big. The prices were very reasonable. We love coming to local spots and this one has great potential. A minor note would be the dining room would probably get quite loud if it were very full. Also, there are no beers on tap, I'm sure a local brewery would do well to make a partnership with Amelia's.”

“We had our wedding reception here in May. Staff is super friendly and the food was delicious (not cooked by Brick Landing but by the only caterer they allow). Reception space is really pretty with a view of the intracoastal. Bridal suite is cute, could use a little face lift, there is no grooms suite. My only complaint is that it was SO HOT in the reception space and they would not/could not cool it down. It was close to 80 degrees inside the entire time, they eventually brought out a fan and plugged it in facing the dance floor. Yikes. Should have been set much cooler in advance to prepare for the hot day and the large group of people. They also could have set the mood a little better during dancing.. we had to ask our wedding planner to dim the lights.”

“Pizza was good and can feed a family pretty easy. Also had a steak and cheese sub that was much better than most. Prices seemed good to me. There were a lot of ice cream choices and what we had we enjoyed. The arcade was a bit of a let down. Definitely wouldn't go back just for the arcade but would for the pizza and ice cream.”

“Family outing for dinner. We ordered 2 pizzas. One large (12 slice) and one small personal pizza. The large pizza came out in 20 minutes and was very hot, fresh and delicious with pepperoni, onions, sausage and mushrooms. The small pizza they forgot about serving it to us and another customer got it. However, they made another at no charge and a 5.00 coupon off the bill. Thank you. We boxed it to go. No harm done. But, no 5 star.”

“Salsa is out of a Jar. Fries aren't very good, seem to be fried too long and also not cut in house. Mac and Cheese is fantastic though, and fresh bread chicken is to die for. Shrimp appetizer is really small for 5 people and two is just to much, sorry proportions need to be worked on, all around please. Does have a great atmosphere though and nice outside seating area.”

“My first visit to Jinks! We absolutely loved it. Very impressed. We were a party of 5; I made a reservation on line for 5:30; we were seated and greeted immediately. We all ordered drinks from the bar which were very quick and delicious. We ordered three appetizers: the Brussel Sprouts which were excellent, the Oysters Rockefeller and the Pimento Cheese with Bacon Jam which was out of this world. I am gluten free and there are several gluten-free options plus our waiter was also very accommodating for me. Three of us got the Grouper with crab meat. The crab meat was a little lacking in volume but the fish was excellent and a good portion. This was served on a bed of rice and beans with a wonderful sauce and collard greens which I was not expecting and they were great. One person got the catfish and the other person got a chicken sandwich. Everyone complimented the food and said how good and savory it was. The view was peaceful and the restaurant clean and cozy. I did not go in the bar or bathrooms so I can't comment on them. Our server, Michael, was friendly and had excellent service. We'll be back!”

“Previously have given Sharky's a 5 star rating, however they removed a couple things from the menu that were our absolute favorites. Additionally, the service this time was less than what we've grown to expect. Could've been a new server or could've been a bad night, but we had to wait about 20 minutes before we ever got asked for our drink order. I definitely left disappointed. The food was still good and acceptable but not what I went for. ???? UPDATE: After the owners response, I went back to Sharky's and spoke with Connie. Maybe I misunderstood the owners response, or perhaps Connie misunderstood, either way the result didn't appease me. First the good, the food was great and Kassie was an excellent server. The bad? My takeaway from the owners response was that my meal and a guest would be their treat. It wasn't. I paid full price for everything. In addition, Connie didn't inquire to why I was disappointed from our first night at Sharky's. Basically the owners response meant nothing. To that degree, I've taken my 5 star initial review from 2018 to the recent 4 star down to a 3 star. Sure the food is good, but back up your words with action. Just extremely disappointed.”

Took family here that came from out of town to visit for memorial day weekend although it was extremely busy as expected they keep the restaurant open way past regular hours to serve everyone and in a timely manner. “We tried Victoria's for dinner tonight. Three of us shared the steam pot and added a 1/2 pound of crab. The steam pot had kielbasa, corn on the cob, peel and eat shrimp, oysters, red skin potatoes, and clams. The oysters in the shell were so good, we had another steam pot of just oysters. It was delicious! Our youngest had a grilled cheese. We would order the same next time. You can also order and take out their steam pots. We might try it our first night at Ocean Isle next year, as a take out. It was convenient to Ocean Isle and a great value.”

“Joey O's is one of our favorite restaurants to go to in the area and we go at least twice every summer. Having had Joey O's recently move, I was surprised to find that positive improvements had been made, as nothing had really changed in the past. They have a friendly staff, a comfortable atmosphere with several TVs, and great food. The only reason that I took points off is because of the cleanliness in the restaurant. When you walk in, you can tell that they are not constantly cleaning the floor.”

“Had a good time. Went there to celebrate my birthday. The food was decent, they give you a good portion. The pitcher of rum punch was off the chain. Although a bit pricey, it was worth it!! The vibe was just what I was looking for, great music to top off the night. It's a little small, they should definitely expand if ever given the chance. The staff was friendly. “If you like seafood Cajun style, just do if. You won’t regret :) Their drinks are tasty, if a bit quirky in Capri sun style plastic pouches. Generous portions with great flavor and friendly service. Check out their lobster Tuesday special. You need reservations for it, but reservations are helpful here anyhow. It’s not super expensive (and it’s lobster) and more than enough for food to fill you up. Two person minimum and everyone at the table needs to be in on it. I’ll be back, for sure. “We discovered this pizza place when they first opened. It is the only place in the area that we eat pizza. It is consistently delicious. The slices are fairly thin and not overloaded with cheese. The eggplant topping is amazing. Highly recommended!”
