Island Jo Coffee & Cafe

It was busy when my wife & I went in, but the Sausage, Egg, & Cheddar Everything Bagel with a Salted Carmel Latte explained the popularity of this coffee & sandwich shop. My wife had their homemade Shrimp Salad on an Everything Bagel, which wasn't on the menu but they made it for her anyway. She let me try it and I'm going back later to get the shrimp salad on a sandwich.

The coffee is awesome and their everything bagels with cream cheese are out of this world. This business has garnered a large following because of there great food drinks and staff. I try to stop by a few times a week for that mid day pick me up! Highly recommend

I love this place! I am an iced coffee fanatic, but not all iced coffees are made equally. The drinks I got at Island Jo were FANTASTIC and really hit the spot. They have so much variety. The coffee is smooth and not too sweet or too bitter. It's how coffee SHOULD be. My breakfast sandwiches were amazing too. I took some egg, bacon, and cheese bagel sandwiches back to our vacation spot and my parents who grew up on Philadelphia delis were really impressed as well and said they were excellent. Likewise, my husband said their "rye was amazing and perfectly toasted".

The service we had was great. You can't ask for more than friendly, personable, and quick. I'd go here everyday if I lived in Oak Island.

What an awesome cozy place to hang and enjoy the great food!! Our egg sandwiches this morning were delicious as well as the coffee drinks! Not only that but service was quick and staff s o friendly. This place will definitely becone a habit whenever we are in town. Kudos to Miss Paula!!
