Swain's Cut Italian Steakhouse

Our party had 4 different entrees-lamb, steak, chicken alfredo and pork chop. Each was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. The grilled asparagus are awesome. The specialty drinks and local beers are extra nice. Service was friendly, attentive and low key. A wonderful addition to the island!

First of all, I am Teri Hunt, not Donna Pellock. I have no idea why her name is showing up .. :-). I learned this restaurant just opened, and, starving for a good steak, I decided to try it out. I had the grass fed rib eye. Who does grass fed around here? These guys do!! It was HUGE and DELICIOUS! I ordered asparagus as a side, which was also delicious.

A really good steak is rare on Oak Island, so I'm grateful for Swain's Cut Italian Steakhouse. Their rib eye beats out Out Back Steakhouse, which has been my go to steak place for a long time. Now I don't need to go so far when I'm in the mood for a steak.

This restaurant is just starting up, but they had a good crowd when I left around 6. The staff and the owner were running to keep up, but were perfectly friendly and attentive, doing the best they could. You never know what to expect when you're new. I'm sure it'll settle down in time.
Highly recommend.

P.S. The coconut pie was to die for as well.
