Atmosphere is nicer than Waffle House and the food was delicious. Waitress Kayla was very sweet. That said, I never thought I could spend $50 on breakfast in Leland, NC until I had breakfast at ESC. I didn’t like seeing that I was charged $3 for one cup of coffee, and $4.50 for one cup of OJ. I don’t have to mind drink prices when I go out to eat, but when I saw the bill it definitely added up.
Lower your prices. I know you take pride in your product, but dang. I’m spending more for breakfast (and I’m not full) than I do for a dinner at most restaurants with a nicer atmosphere.
The food was excellent. My husband said he wished there would've been more meat on his sandwich, the Reuben for the price. Maybe consider making the outside as inviting as the inside! Almost missed it!
Great food, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere. Although, I get the standard breakfast items, they have plenty for the experimental people out there with all the new craves. Oh and was informed they change menus every so often to stay trending.
I love everything about Eternal Sunshine Cafe in Leland! The food quality is fantastic and incredibly yummy! On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays if you order one of their amazing Benedicts you can add a pancake or French toast for $1.00!
The customer service is always excellent as well! Love to share this spot with our out of town guests!
Have been here three times since they opened. Once for lunch and twice for breakfast. Every time I was impressed by the very good quality of food, great service and artsy, cheerful ambience. Food came out promptly. Restaurant was clean. Has booths, tables in dining area as well as a bar area near the entrance. It is. family friendly and able to accommodate larger groups. I highly recommend the eggs benedict as well as the french toast selections. My companion stated her biscuits and gravy were the best she has had! Don’t miss the gift shop if it is open. It has some wonderful works by local artists.
