Favorite brewery in Asheville! We got the birthday face and death complex and loved it so much we came back the next night to get another round of beers. Also got some for the road! We didn’t try the food so we can’t speak to that, but the beers were excellent- unique and fairly priced. Service was great too and the overall attention to detail and safety amidst COVID was excellent. Plenty of space for separate parties to dine safely.
The host does a tremendous job of welcoming the parties into the venue and starting orders. Everyone that we interacted with helped make the experience great and we highly recommend travelers visit for good food and good beer. We had the pork taquitos and they were FIRE especially with the salsa, black bean Greek yogurt and lime marmalade.
Entrees were good. We got the boiled peanuts as app, which came out with the meal. Flavor would have been good with some salt, but there was none. Not boiled peanuts I'm used to. Service wasn't that great. Didn't come back to check on us at all and we had to call the server over on 2 occasions to get something missing from order and to get the check. We were extremely patient waiting for them to come to us, but it didn't happen. I do love the environment and the outdoor space (which looks like it may have been just created for Covid with the temporary tents) and that they are dog friendly. May have been an understaffed, off-weeknight.
In town for a few weeks and stopped in since it was dog friendly. Had good beers, a great spicy fried chicken sandwich and great service. Liked the ambiance and would go again.
Great beer and excellent service!!! One of our favorite breweries in Asheville. Always a nice one-two punch with Green Man a few feet away. Cool space with a bunch of unique seating. Excellent beers and always great customer service. A mandatory stop for your next brewery tour.
