Small, intimate setting and adventurous menu makes this a foody's delight! Small menu but something for everyone. Starters are surprisingly large. Cocktail menu is intriguing; the hibiscus some-or-other was. delicate & delectable. Waiter guided me to a wonderful German pilsner that was perfect. Chilled cucumber and coconut soup was only "pretty good' but was beautiful. The radish, salt, and butter side (yes that's a thing) was shockingly tasty.
Definitely worth a return trip. The bill was fair for the quality of food. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.
FABULOUS! Though my duck order with sauteed seasonal ramps was delicious wish I had ordered what my chum did - her scallops looked amazing. So good she refused to sample me a taste...oh, well, meant we had room for desserts (which we never do but hey - it was Fig and a day to totally splurge). Our server was a pro yet warm, friendly. Best fare I've had in Asheville in ages ????
Simply amazing service, food, and drinks. Small, cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. This always makes this list when our planning to go out.
I recommend giving this sleepy restaurant a try. I loved the small and quaint interior. The server gave us great recommendations. I would tell you what they were, but I think the menu changes regularly. As good as the food we had was, I can imagine everything is delicious! Pricey but worth it.
