Rye Knot

All together enjoyed it, my wife loved her burger and cocktails. I haven’t worked In a kitchen in 20yrs so I don’t know how 1 in 3 fries gets hot? One Rye knot was hot then the rest weren’t, but that first one was so hot you go into the others with some fear and caution only to feel stupid. Man I love Ruebens only to get mine missing one of the 3 ingredients. Great atmosphere, but at the prices I paid I expect some perfection$$$

So, the drinks...wow! I had a pumpkin spice white russian and it wa so delicious. I also had one of their porters and it was quite enjoyable. The pizza, called 3 Little Pigs, sounded like it would be great. However, the dough seemed like it probably was a frozen or pre-made source and the sauce was super sweet like a jar of tomato paste or something pre-made. We did not try any of the other snacks this time, but we will be back. The drinks are worth it and the service was great. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We even got to meet the owner, Captain Bob :)

Food was absolutely delicious. From the Rye knots to the Meatloaf, Shrimp and Grits and even the Mediterranean Flatbread, all were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Apple Cider Martini was like drinking Fall, it was light but "cinnamon-y". Grandpa Bob's IPA is outstanding and smooth. Great atmosphere with a casual bar area to watch sports or play a game of shuffleboard, or a dining area if you are bringing the family, you will not be disappointed!!

Rye Knot is a wonderful addition to our north Asheville neighborhood! The food is really great, everything I have eaten here is delicious ( and I have been here 7 times already!) The burger here is one of the best in Asheville, they grind their own hamburger and it makes a difference, thick and flavorful, juicy, with the perfect soft roll, sliced of grilled onion, cheddar and a beautiful slice of tomato. The fries are perfect, not too thick or thin. We also enjoyed the smoked meatloaf, smoked chicken wings with buffalo sauce (excellent, and we are from upstate NY where buffalo wings are huge) Ceasar salad with salmon ( cooked moist and flavorful) and lastly the fish and chips. I think I am most excited about the fish and chips because I couldn't find a fish fry in Asheville that was perfect for me until this one. If you like crispy batter that puffs up above the fish keeping the fish moist and hot then you will like this entree. Excellent value too, you will not go away hungry. Lastly the staff here is excellent,friendly, conscientious, attention to detail. They are also lucky to have ample parking and large outdoor eating.
