Smoked! BBQ

Great pulled pork sandwich and nice selection of sides and sauces. Paired it with sweet tea and Mac & cheese, lunch was as good as it gets.

OMG! We just got takeout lunch here and it was SOOO delicious! We were going to drive over to the Botanical Gardens and eat lunch there, but we decided to just take a little taste in the parking lot outside Smoked. It was so fantastic that we ate it all right there. Proprietor was really nice, helpful. Definitely recommend!

Food Experience Catering and Barbecue has some of the best barbecue I've had in Western North Carolina. I've been to a lot of barbecue places around here - so, so many - based on the great reviews but the barbecue wasn't great (and that's just based on my Mississippi upbringing and taste buds). Food Experience is worthy of great reviews.

I can definitely recommend the ribs, mac and cheese (really good and you still might want to add a touch of salt), the sweet potato casserole (better than pie), and the cornbread (I actually get that by itself sometime when I just want a treat). Plus everyone is so freaking nice, which is kinda hard to find around here.

They're right beside the bowling alley off Patton in West Asheville. I have no connection with them but when a local business does a great job, they deserve a shout out.
