Taco Boy West Asheville

We enjoyed our visit to Taco Boy last night. Our apps and entrees were fresh and tasty. I love the blood orange margarita. I particularly enjoyed the tempura shrimp taco and the black beans. I like that you can have lettuce wraps instead of tortillas.
The noise level is lively but not too loud to converse with tablemates. We felt welcomed by everyone. Our servers were attentive, efficient and friendly.

Came in on a Taco Tuesday on a whim with a large group and Josh the manager was SO accommodating!! Katie our server was wonderful. So sweet and able to ebb and flow with our large group celebrating our friends baby on the way. We super appreciated the wonderful hospitality and the food and drinks were above exceptional!! Parking makes life easy in West Asheville and the space is lovely. Great job Taco Boy team!!

Nicely decorated every inch. Parking was decent. Welcome to Asheville! If you have a taste for som good Mexican food this is the place! The service was very good. My soup want hot enough but they kindly brought me a piping bowl of Tortilla Soup. Is was delicious!. Try their spicy Margarita .

All in all very nice spot with a small gift shop !

Definitely stop by for a good meal! Highly recommended!

Great first experience at Taco Boy! My husband said the tempura taco was the best taco he’s ever had, as were mine. Our waiter Josh had a warm, welcoming presence, and was super gracious and accommodating when I forgot to mention a food intolerance until after our food was brought out. Without any ounce of annoyance, he promptly got me a new plate. In total — atmosphere, food, and service was exceptional.

I so wanted Taco Boy to be amazing but… Overall the experience was fine but I was very disappointed with the overall value of my meal. I had a margarita and two taco and my bill was $28 with a tip. When the waiter dropped off my tacos, the plate was so small I thought he had made a mistake. Can’t say I will be back.
