If you want the best curry comfort food in WNC then this is the place.
I loved everything about this place, staff were courteous and environment was educational to Japanese culture.
I will be back on any celebration occasion that I can.

Not only is the food authentic, but the place and atmosphere is very, very Japanese. I felt like I was back in Tokyo, very relaxed and casual environment. The staff are so, so lovely. The whole experience just feels very real. As for the food, it's nothing incredible, but still tasty and the closest you will find to actual, authentic Japanese food in Asheville! Try it yourself!

Best Japanese place in town, is legit Japanese food by Japanese people. It's really good comfort food and I can't think of anything on the menu I didn't like after trying it! Highly recommend it.

Really good food!! Prices are very reasonable and I love the atmosphere. They provide re-useable chopsticks and free green tea to drink. Only negative was the miso soup was a bit bland but other than that everything was delicious!! Definitely going back.
