Everything was delicious and good size portions and a large menu with plenty of choices. I wish I lived near heat so I could try more of the food. I would definitely recommend this place. The basket of fried pickles were huge and very tasty, ribs were tender and flavorful and bbq beans and slaw were good as well.

Very good. Quick service. Pulled pork is tender. Regular bbq sauce had a little kick to it as well as the green beans. The fried ochre was crispy outside and tender on the inside. The corn bread was great-a little sweet and moist.

Great bbq and friendly staff. I highly recommend the fried ribs or their wings. Their daily handmade sides offer a refreshing change from traditional "set" sides that most restaurants offer. I've eaten here several times and I haven't been disappointed yet.

By far one of my favorite BBQ places in Asheville! They have excellent Entrees (BBQ, chicken, turkey) and their sides are the best. The cornbread is amazing, if you like a sweeter version. Try the chicken salad side or get a whole pint of it! Their wings are great too and their dipping sauce. Prices are really good, the double or triple wide pack will feed a family or a group.
