Love taking my son here!
Fairly priced, new, high quality games and attractions with one crucial flaw.
The staff could be better. One of the big aspects of a bright and cheerful children-based arcade/activity center is that the place should probably be just that. Bright and cheerful. It's not a poker house. The decor and colors are on spot, the location is nice, and the games are all-ages, but it all seems to fall back to the seemingly lifeless staff. They're not mean or cruel, they're just... colorless, you know? They don't seem like they want to be there. AT ALL.
What we're talking about here is the arcade equivalent of McDonald's drive thru employees. Prize booth? "You have (X amount) of tickets" is the least amount of words my boyfriend and I heard. He picked something out, and the attendant scanned it, handed it to him, and gave him his card back without another word. Seriously? You're working in an arcade. How bad could it possibly be? About a year ago, the staff was fantastic. unfortunately, all but one of that crew left, I assume. I haven't seen them since, so I assume they've gone.
Lastly, I will not unleash Ragnarok on this review, so I'll give it three stars, mainly because PlayStaytion hasn't been open that long. As of this September (2019), it will have been open for three years. There's definitely room for improvement. It's small, and competing with Chuck E. Cheese's and Asheville's Fun Depot (as well as various others), so it has time to learn, adapt and improve. After all, if that rule didn't apply, that whole "Putt Putt" orange painted walls and golf courses problem would still be going on.
Fun place, friendly staff, not too expensive
Great and fun a little small inside but if it's warm there's so much to do outside.
Came here for go karts primarily and they are electric to begin with so they are decently quick, however they either need to fix the type of tires they use or redo the track, because if u go into the first and sometimes the second corner a tad to quick the kart front will hop like mad, since the track is very bumpy. Just is just all my opinion fyi.
