Absolutely outstanding authentic Mexican food. Without question, the best tacos in Asheville and most certainly the best food being served anywhere in Leicester (I've lived out here for 14 years, trust me on that). Freshly made tortillas make every taco a real joy to eat; my personal favorites are the 'al pastor' and cabeza (beef cheek), though they also have chicken, pork carnitas, lengua, and more. In addition to tacos, you can choose tortas, burritos, sopes, quesadillas, etc. The homemade red and green sauces are fantastic as well. You can't beat the low, low prices, - so affordable and so delicious.

While I'm on the subject of the cabeza tacos, let me add that I spend the large majority of my time eating, cooking, and traveling in search of delicious things, and this is by far one of the best things I've eaten this year. Perfectly braised beef, just the right amount of fat, and a crispy, brown crust that makes for the perfect taco experience. It's rare that you eat something so good that each bite gets better and better until you find yourself almost biting your fingers when it's gone. I can't stress enough how good this taco was and how happy it made my day today. Get down here and eat right now!
