In my opinion the best bar in the Asheville area. Specializing in prohibition era drink this baf has a smooth layed back atmosphere with freindly and knowledge service.

It was pretty good. Prices were decent. The best spicy mustard I have ever had.

The bartenders were fantastic and the food was excellent (elevated pub food). Everything was reasonably priced and timely. I would recommend Thirsty Monk to anyone with a pulse.

So it seems like people complain about the bartenders only taking care of the locals. I find that odd. I’m from Florida and come here every year when I come up for the holidays. So I’m the exact opposite of a local. I always get prompt friendly service. Just today I stopped in real quick to refill my bottles, took me less than 15 min. I think there might be a break down in how things work with first timers. You go up to the bar to order beer and food, then go sit down.
