(April 17, 2019, 4:14 pm)Awesome food, and gorgeous place to eat. Sits right on a beautiful river set next to stunning stately, old trees. I had the ribs and fries and they were DELICIOUS!! Service was up and beyond wonderful. They let us host a small birthday party and really helped to make sure we had anything we needed to make it extra special. Would also be amazing for family reunions or special events. They even have fun outdoor games. It transports you to a quieter time of enjoying awesome food, great friends, and stunning nature and river views. Will definitely be going back when we come back!

I had the tips and didnt even have to use A1 it was very good. My daughter had the grilled cheese and it was huge. Everyone loved it and the breeze off the river felt amazing

Not to mention that the food is out of this world and the service is outstanding. Such a great place! They are demolishing the present building in October and rebuilding in order to accommodate more customers, so go now while the historic original site can still be experienced.

(March 3, 2019, 2:21 am)If you want deep fried they'll give it to you. They fry food deeper than the river next to the restaurant. Great and quick service even on a busy Saturday. I highly recommend then for southern BBQ.

(December 28, 2018, 9:03 pm)Very good food. Great atmosphere. It can get quite crowded, affecting wait times, so you may want to check ahead of time. Really nice outside area, (other than in Winter.)
Good sized portions. Highly recommend.
