Hawthorne's New York Pizza and Bar Harrisburg

Really liked the calzone I had delivered a couple of weeks ago but the pizza was nothing special, was pretty dry. For a pizza for that price i was expecting a bit better. Will give the pizza another chance but if the quality i received is consistent i probably wont buy it again.

I like Hawthorne’s. I like the staff. I like most of the food. The pizza is not the best but it is edible and I will eat it on occasion. The biggest problem for me is the price. They are very expensive and that is why I only visit once every couple of months. I can easily spend 30-40 bucks by myself before a tip.

We had a very large party of 30 ppl that came in at 10 pm. They did the best they could considering the number in our party and the time. They were out of at least 2 different beers that some requested but other than that they were great! Food was good and checks were accurate. In fact, we were done eating and had our checks within 1 1/2 hours. That's really good for a 30 person party. Excellent job!!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and it’s always been a great experience. The service is friendly and prompt. I’m a big fan of their penne a la vodka and the calamari, but nothing, and I mean nothing beats their garlic knots. The New York pizza is delicious as well. Highly recommend!

Delicious! My luau pizza was so good. I will substitute pepperoni for ham next time though. The restaurant in Harrisburg was confusing in regard to the front door and hostess stand...there were several doors, so we were unsure of where to go. Once seated, we quickly realized ordered drinks and then our meals. Dinner came quickly and so did my tea refills. I will certainly go again!
