Captain Steve's Family Seafood Restaurant

This is one of the top seafood places in Harrisburg. Plenty of parking. Large and spacious eating areas. Friendly employees. Great food choices and the prices are good as well. The food is cooked well and has great flavor. The portions are normally enough so where you can bring some home.

I usually eat here a couple of times a year when I'm in the area and I don't recall ever having a bad experience. My daughter and I ate there for lunch yesterday. We ordered separately, but our main courses were catfish, baby shrimp, and fried oysters all of which were delicious including the sides. The prices and portions were really good too. The waitress was very nice, checked on us often (but not too much to bother us), and remembered us from before even though it had been several months since we had been there. Great place to go if you're wanting seafood and friendly service at great prices.

I've been to this location quite a few times. The food and the service are normally good but today my server had a party of 6 come in after me and was focusing most of his time to them and neglected me. I had to get another server to get me a to go box but I still had to wait to get my servers attention to get the hill so I could pay and leave. It took a while but I think he finally got the drift when he saw that someone else gave me my to go box. I still tipped him good even though I shouldn't have. I had the Captains platter which was good and the portion was so much that I had leftovers.

This is a great location for the price and the amount of food you receive! Price is perfect also. It was busy but the time to get was not long. They stated 30 minutes we were seated in 15-20 minutes. Having a great staff helped out as well. I will be back soon.

Took my family for dinner prior to the drive through the Christmas Lights at Charlotte Motor Speedway. My family loves Steve's but usually go the the Fort Mill restaurant. They were very impressed with this restaurant building and of course the food was just as they expected. Service and food were great. I, on the other hand don't eat seafood so I ordered the Greek salad which was awesome. Thank you Steve's for the great evening.
