Typical diner style food. Wide selection... But that's not always so great. I'd prefer a restaurant to serve fewer items that they've taken the time to perfect, than have a plethora of choices that are only mediocre at best. Last time we dined here I ordered Baked Spaghetti. Came with a salad and garlic "bread". The BREAD was not French or Italian bread as one would expect. It was a HOT DOG BUN!!!! THATwas smashed down flat, like someone had taken a rolling pin to it!!!! I mean, COME ON folks.... This was one of your SPECIALS!!!! Hot Dog buna for garlic bread is quite a stretch......

People are always nice. Service is usually very quick. Most importantly the food is home made. Pork chops are awesome and the marinated beef tips are off the wall.

I ate here several times during the few months I worked at Corning. The place was packed every day !! Don’t let the small storefront deceive you. They will move chairs and switch tables to get you in and out(without being rushed of course)Employees are friendly and courteous. If you leave hungry it will be your own fault !! Portions are very generous. To say it’s like my grandmother cooked is cliche, but I kept looking for her.......
