Afton Pub & Pizza

Met 2 others who already had their drinks. Took waitress 10 minutes or more to greet us for our drinks and then we asked if we could order. She told us no, to hold on. Ordered 10 minutes or more later. Our food came out after the 4 other tables that sat down after us (at least 25- 30 minutes). Our appetizer still not out when food came out. We canceled our appetizer. Our drinks were not checked to be refilled until after our food was out. Then our checks took 20 minutes to come out because their system was down. We were the only table in restaurant by that time. It had cleared out. We got there at Sunday lunch rush- 4 people at our table. The whole restaurant shouldn't have left before us- ridiculous. Food was good. Still tipped well because that's just us, but service and communication was horrible. Was visited by manager after we cancelled appetizer and verbalized dissatisfaction. He did give us coupon for future visit.

If you are in the George Liles / Poplar Tent area, Afton Pub is one of the best places to grab a quick meal. Great friendly atmosphere, wait staff is friendly and does a great job. On top of all this, the food is spectacular. I'm sure you will enjoy if you decide to get out in this area

Great bar and restaurant. The folks working here are great. Quick service and tasty eats. Diverse menu with plenty to choose from. Well worth the visit.

Great little place nearby to have a drink and some yummy food. Nice selection of beers on tap with additional bottles and cans available in the cooler. We ordered the nachos, caprese salad, and Cam's White pizza. Hubby and I had to get a box for the pizza and salad since the nachos were so good and the size was enough for a meal for us. We will definitely become regulars now that we know about this little gem. All the staff members were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Pizza smelled awesome and salad looked yummy so I am looking forward to those items at dinner.
